ABOUT

I’m Yna Pineda, a queer-Filipina artist, community organizer, and multidisciplinary creative. I was born in the Philippines, raised in Southern California, and currently based in Chicago. My work spans ambient indie music, community event curation, visual media, and cultural storytelling. Through it all, I center connection, care, and creativity.

My sound is dreamlike, layered, and emotionally intimate as it is an archive of grief, love, healing, and becoming. Whether composing music, organizing community events, or shaping visual narratives, I aim to build spaces where people feel seen and heard. My projects often focus on underrepresented stories, especially femme, queer, and BIPOC voices, and to explore what it means to hold complexity with tenderness.

My voice is not just mine for it carries every hand that’s held me, every story that’s shaped me.
I’d like to say I’ll always be a mosaic of the people I love.

If my work resonates with you, let’s connect.
I’m always open to new collaborations, conversations, and community.
