Tea and Talent

To close out Women’s History Month, I hosted Tea and Talent, Amber Agave’s first-ever open mic event alongside our Director of Events, Rowan Quinain—an evening dedicated to celebrating creativity, community, and collective expression. The event featured a wide range of performances including spoken word poetry, original music, and heartfelt covers. What made the night truly special was the atmosphere of support and connection—artists and attendees alike showed up not just to perform, but to uplift one another.

We were honored to feature Vietnamese-American creative Cee Pham, who closed out the evening with a powerful set. I had the joy of accompanying her on guitar while also helping run and coordinate the event behind the scenes.

Tea and Talent was a beautiful, community-centered night—and just the beginning of many more creative gatherings to come.
